Our Risk Assurance Practice provides an invaluable safeguard in today’s complex operating environment with insights and independent assurance. We work with clients to deliver business control to help them to protect and strengthen every aspect of their business from people to performance, systems to strategy, business plans to business resilience. We help clients manage, mitigate and control risks from potential cybersecurity breaches to possible breaks in the supply chain. We assess and prepare businesses by looking into their technology, finance, data analytics, regulatory requirements, data security and privacy, internal audit, and the third parties our clients rely on, to help clients deliver quality results and meet their strategic objectives.

How will you value-add?

As part of our team, you’ll support both our advisory and audit clients on risk management for financial services, with a deep focus on credit risk relating service offerings.

As a senior associate /manager in our team, you’ll be leading engagements from execution to completion on projects relating to:

  • Development and validation of credit risk models for IFRS 9

  • Implementation of credit risk management frameworks

  • Advisory of credit risk modelling concepts and practical solutions for our banking client’s needs

  • Develop visualization tools and dashboards for our clients

  • Develop innovative risk models using AI or machine learning

As a successful candidate, you most likely have:

  • Deep knowledge of credit modelling techniques and experience building / validating key components of the credit risk model (i.e. PD/ LGD / EAD)

  • Knowledge of quantitative modelling techniques used in modern day credit risk models

  • Experience in an array of programming languages (e.g. R, Python, SQL, etc)

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Experience managing client engagements

About You

  • Ideally a graduate with accounting, finance, math or statistics degree

  • 3 to 8 years of relevant experience (accounting advisory, credit modelling, statutory audit) with an international public accounting firm, corporation or bank.

  • Industry related certification is a plus (e.g., FRM, CPA / CA /ACCA , CFA)

  • Additional experience in project management, credit modelling or reporting systems would be favourably considered.

  • Candidates with experience in audit or advisory for financial institutions are also welcome to apply.
