We are looking for a Regional EHS Director to manage our data centre delivery for our regional expansion. You will be a key member of the in-house construction team, making an impact in several ways:

 

  • Manage data centre EHS activities during project construction in alignment with the SingTel road map strategy.
  • Working in conjunction with leadership & project delivery teams to define the regional implementation plan and tactics to achieve the regional EHS strategies.
  • Develop, integrate, and execute regional long term/short term EHS strategies, policies, programs, procedures, standards, training, processes, and actions plan throughout the business organization to effectively manage applicable or relevant requirements.
  • Ensure regional compliance with EHS laws and employee safety and injury prevention programs.
  • Perform EHS compliance applicability reviews, EHS risk assessments and implement effective programs, procedures, processes, and systems to ensure regulatory compliance and protect employees, communities, and the environment.
  • Manage external stakeholders EHS activities, including reporting, visits, or inspections.

 

Skills for Success

 

  • About 20+ years experienced EHS Professional holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Degree in Occupational Health and Safety will be an advantage.
  • Working experience in various fields of construction including experience in Health, Safety and Environmental field,
  • Experience designing, revising, and implementing health and safety processes and procedural documentation.
  • Qualification on Workplace Safety · Safety Management Systems · Accident Investigation · Construction Safety · Risk Management · Hazard Identification · HSE Management Systems.
  • Experience working with APAC regional EHS regulations.
  • Strong leadership and foresight to lead multi-disciplinary teams across multiple geographies.
  • Exceptionally flexible and forward-thinking as you have to be ready for continuous change in direction.
  • Willing to make decisions and be accountable for them.
  • Excel at communication and can deliver effective presentations on data centre operations to customers, peers and management.
  • Willing to travel to other APAC regions on a regular basis.
