JOB SUMMARY

  • Work and collaborate with internal stakeholders from different teams to understand insight needs, align on research objectives, identify key target segment and outline research plans
  • Manage research projects that involve the following steps: client database collection, client reach outs, interview coordination, research instrument development and stakeholder discussions
  • Moderate / facilitate in depth interviews, focus group discussions and workshops with internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Triangulate qualitative research with inputs from other available data sources including internal data, external market research and secondary data
  • Analyse findings, write story-driven reports, provide actionable recommendations and present to stakeholders
  • Maintain and manage an internal always-on user panel that will be tapped into for quick surveys, usability interviews and other ad-hoc research initiatives
  • Support the operational elements of the insights team including the management of the book of work, organising client interviews, note taking during client interviews, maintaining a database of interviewed clients and managing external agency work

  • Actively develop an awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment within which the Group operates

  • Support the standardised DCDA Insights operating rhythm including research planning & prioritization, performance tracking and stakeholder engagement model 

Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and support the control risks related to the Bank’s use of external agencies and advise on risk mitigation approaches. 

Governance

  • Understand the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Psychology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) 
  • 5 + years’ of experience in supporting the design and execution of qualitative research studies including analysis and final report presentation to stakeholders
  • Direct Contract role of seven months tenure  
  • Expertise in depth interview facilitation, group moderation and workshop facilitation are a requirement
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong Powerpoint & Excel skills
  • Solid presentations skills
  • Experience in quantitative research including questionnaire design & reporting is an advantage
  • Experience in managing an always-on panel would be ideal (although not required)
