Job Description

  • Lead project delivery for strategic client initiatives focused on developing market entry / expansion strategies, footprint realignment and supply chain assessments for leading companies globally from multiple sectors (with a focus on Pharmaceuticals).
  • Deliver bespoke market and sector insights and provide points of view on opportunities and challenges in growth markets and industries to clients
  • Drive client discussions and workshops with senior executives of corporate organisations and government stakeholders
  • Develop sector specific knowledge in Pharmaceuticals for both developed and growth markets
  • Lead on-ground research and author thought leadership and reports
  • Engage in business development and client pursuit efforts
  • Develop relationships and help build a pipeline of inbound and outbound projects to sell and deliver, working closely with PwC’s global industry leaders and network of teams
  • Establish strong international network of external stakeholders including clients and industry associations and participate in regional and international conferences and client events

Requirements

  • 8 – 10+ years of relevant Pharmaceuticals experience in either a strategy, management consultancy, or an in-house role within the Pharmaceuticals sector
  • Growth markets experience (E.g. Southeast Asia, China, India, Middle East, Latin America, Africa and CEE)
  • Strong experience in delivering on client engagement with multiple stakeholders and team in different countries  
  • Strong experience in a regional or global capacity, equipped with strong knowledge of growth markets globally or in specific regions
  • Experienced in managing data collection and analysis and resourceful with excellent research and analytical skills; can transform quantitative and qualitative data into insights relating to country, sector and consumer trends, competitive intelligence
  • Possess credentials in business development and sales with ability to develop insightful presentations to support proposals, client discussions and business development pursuits
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Possess strong communication and presentation skills
  • Team player comfortable with working in a multi-cultural and diverse global team   
  • An ability to communicate in multiple languages will be advantageous
