Make an Impact by:

  • Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of complex projects in execution to achieve the projects goals and objectives.
  • Take ownership of project P&L while overseeing cost control, cashflow forecast, monthly and quarterly forecasts. Coordinate with Project team (and particularly planning, financial controlling and engineering) to achieve and further improve margin.
  • Co-owner of Statement of Works, Change Orders, Amendments, Benchmarks, updating Terms & Conditions, optimising business models via Change Management procedure.
  • Identify and track project commercial risks and opportunities and taking appropriate risk management measures and converting opportunities to reality.
  • Manage the preparation and participation of both internal and external monthly, quarterly, or ad-hoc project commercial reporting or forecast.
  • Perform negotiations, together with project leadership, on contract amendments and settlement agreements with clients, partners and/or subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Where necessary work in partnership with Legal teams to ensure business, project and site teams receive the best contractual and legal advice and guidance particularly in respect of (but not limited to) matters subject to dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Assist in the management of contractual and commercial disputes and where applicable, work in partnership with Legal subject matter expert(s) to ensure business, project and product teams receive the best contractual and legal advice and guidance.
  • Capture and document learnings and best practices on commercial issues.
  • Participate in external audits required by customer(s) where applicable.

 

Skills for Success:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business Administration.
  • At least 5 years of commercial management experience in relevant ICT or global telecommunication industry.
  • Experience in commercial contract negotiation and strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills with a good eye for detail and sound knowledge of international commercial law.
  • Keen interest in the business and its operations and processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in Excel / Spreadsheet.
  • Strong experience in shaping and executing the commercial model to sustain operations & business growth.
  • Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, and to meet critical deadlines.
  • Able to work well independently with strategic thinking ability to manage multiple priorities.
