We’re searching for a System Engineer to be part of our diverse team of talent here at NCS!

What we seek to accomplish together:

• Manage, monitor and ensure all system availability
• Perform system installation, configuration, testing of application software and patches
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and application availability.
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
• Maintain and update security and vulnerabilities register.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Implement and support Service and Change Requests and ensure they are completed within the SLA guideline
• Ensure highest level of system availability

A little about you:

• Diploma/Nitec in Computer Science, Computing, Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• At least 2 years working experience in System Support or similar capacity
• Have strong interest in investigating and identifying causes of issues, and able to propose solutions to rectify the issue
• Good planning and coordination skills.
• Good writing and verbal communication skills.
• Good team player, responsible and conscientious
• Resourceful, independent, responsive and pro-active.
