AWS Global Demand Organization (GDO) is seeking an early career software engineer to build the future with us. As a part of AWS Marketing Technology, GDO provides solutions to support marketers to address diverse problems through technology solutions. We are running a strategic project which leverages AI to transform the traditional customer engagement into a personalized experience that makes it easy to onboard prospects and customers onto AWS.

Key job responsibilities
A successful Software Development Engineer (SDE 1) in our team needs to be self-motivated, able to quickly learn new concepts, and work in a highly collaborative environment. You are expected to develop, test, and deploy high quality, correct, and maintainable production software. You will contribute across the software stack, including back end services, front end components, and applied Generative AI.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Recent graduates from Dec-2023 onwards
• Candidates must possess valid work authorization for Singapore

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
• Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing
• Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
• Knowledge in AWS technologies
• Knowledge in Generative AI technologies
