As a Product Manager for 5G MEC (Edge IaaS), you will be responsible for 5G MEC (Edge IaaS) B2B product management. Key responsibilities include building and managing of Singtel’s 5G MEC (Edge IaaS) portfolio, pricing management of products, managing of product profitability, evaluating and management of technology vendors, managing Singtel 5G MEC (Edge IaaS) feature roadmap, integrating developed products into Singtel’s existing IT/Billing systems and processes, and provide technical support for business development teams on their market engagements.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Manage and support Singtel 5G MEC (Edge IaaS) business including coordinating/managing vendors, ensure products are integrated into existing processes, work with product engineering team to ensure roadmap and deployment timelines are adhered to.
  • Be the technical go to person for all 5G MEC technical expertise (for example cloud services stack spanning topics from virtualisation, IaaS, PaaS, data center networking to hyperscale cloud providers services/environment)
  • Manage the entire product management lifecycle and include deep interaction with customers, internal sales, and Singtel product engineering teams.
  • Work with sales and business development to provide 5G MEC (Edge IaaS) thought leadership and clear messaging.
  • Managing overall cost structure and pricing for customer engagement.
  • Gather requirements from customers, sales and support and driving ongoing prioritization of product investments
  • Drive roadmap, positioning, feature requirements and delivery for IaaS product.
  • Developing use cases that demonstrates unique value proposition and benefits of our products
  • Collaborate with product marketing to support creation of customer driven messaging and content.
  • Ensure billing, provisioning and fulfilment of 5G MEC services.
  • Developing use cases that demonstrates unique value proposition and benefits of our products (eg cloud economics and TCO).
  • Responsible to define and setup product lifecycle management processes (including internal day 0, day 1, day 2 processes).

 

 

Education and Qualification

Candidate should hold a degree in relevant areas such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics.

 

Work Experience

 

3 or more years of experience in product management in enterprise mobile products or cloud products. 3 or more years of experience in a technical role in a cloud services environment (technical presales or solution architect)

 

Technical / Professional Skills

 

  • Experience in cloud technologies (especially in IaaS and PaaS technology stack);
  • Strong understanding of data center networking.
  • Basic understanding of mobile technologies is preferred.
  • Exposure and working knowledge of Azure/AWS/Google cloud environments.
  • Demonstrable experience in creating service offering for cloud service providers will be an advantage;
  •  Knowledge in finance, business cases, P&L, and forecasting.
  • SDN Technology understanding preferred.
