As a Manager / Senior Manager, Partnership & Alliances, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing strategic partnerships, driving business growth, and maximizing the value of our collaborations.
What will you do?
Partner Life Cycle Management
- Conduct comprehensive business research to assess partner potential and provide recommendations based on financial analysis, competitor analysis, and industry focus.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans with partners, outlining growth objectives, target accounts, and go-to-market strategies.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new partners, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with company goals.
- Manage day-to-day interactions with partners, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and fostering strong relationships.
- Organize and lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with partner and NCS management to track progress, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
Business Development and Marketing
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify target segments and accounts for partner collaboration.
- Facilitate account mapping sessions between NCS CSUs and partners to align on joint opportunities.
- Plan and execute go-to-market (GTM) events in partnership with CSUs, ensuring effective utilization of partner funding and resources.
NCS Enablement
- Coordinate and deliver pre-sales and post-sales training programs for partners, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to effectively position and deliver our solutions.
- Identify and secure funding for training initiatives, leveraging both internal and partner resources.
Rebates and Incentives Procurement and Payment
- Drive commercial activities to secure rebates and incentives from partners.
- Collaborate with solution sales teams to maximize sales opportunities and achieve rebate targets.
- Manage the procurement and payment process for rebates and incentives, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
Agreements and Internal Approvals
- Collaborate with legal teams to review and negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies and risk mitigation strategies.
- Obtain necessary internal approvals for partnership agreements and programs, addressing any concerns or risks identified by stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in partner relationship management, preferably in the technology industry eg. system integration or a Fortune 500 technology company.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with partners.
- Solid business acumen, with a deep understanding of financial analysis, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Results-oriented and self-motivated attributes, with a strong work ethic and a passion for excellence.
- A passion for fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
- A bachelor’s degree.
