To safeguard the smooth execution of development projects (currently Comcentre Redevelopment), working with teams (including Joint Venture partners) to ensure the technical excellence of the design and construction.

 

To monitor the progress of the project and manage contractual matters, collaboration, and project meetings with relevant stakeholders, as part of Singtel team.

 

Support other projects in Singtel as needed.   

 

Make an Impact by:

 

  • Conceptualise, design and implement architecture and interior design proposals.  Manage the development of design concepts/ options for projects, including conceptualising design requirements and formulating design briefs.

 

  • Manage, facilitate and supervise architecture and interior design projects of varying scales and budget, as well as lead the coordination of assigned project deliverables.

 

  • Monitor and guide the performance, standards and work quality of consultants and contractors to ensure that the projects meet the desired design intent and fulfils the requirements and objectives of the company.

 

  • Review consultants’ construction design, drawings and specifications for projects, with focus on architectural, ID and landscaping, etc. Value add to the technical excellence of the project as an expert in architectural design & construction details.

 

  • Review contractors shop drawings, material submissions and design mock-ups as well as construction quality & progress.

 

  • Manage & Coordinate project matters & contract administration in the capacity of a client representative.

 

  • Keep abreast of the latest architecture, interior and workplace designs, trends and developments.

 

  • Provide guidance and inputs to the team on design matters.

 

 

Skills for Success:

 

  • A recognised Degree in Architecture or relevent Degree.
  • At least 10 years of relevant working experience as Architect or Project Manager preferably in developer organisations, public sector or consulting firms.
  • Relevant experiences in the planning, design and implementation of large scale commercial/mixed-used/office development projects with sustainability and smart building solutions, and Design for safety requirements.
  • Detail-oriented with good acumen in management and resolution of technical issues and challenges.
  • Strong in people management, good writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in usage of design and construction technologies
