Amazon is seeking a dynamic leader for our Consumables and Ultra-Fast Grocery teams in Singapore. You will be directly managing a large team of Vendor Managers, Business Development Managers and 3P Account Managers whilst partnering with several teams across finance, marketing, supply chain, operations, product management, tech and more.
The ideal candidate will have experience within grocery or/and wider CPG space. This candidate will have a demonstrated track record of delivering results, inventive problem solving, and career advancement. We seek an experienced people manager, with experience hiring and developing large, diverse teams with examples of building out the next levels of talent within an organization.
Experience with starting new businesses and scaling them fast scaling, as well as dealing with C-level execs are preferred.
Key job responsibilities
You are in charge of finessing and driving the strategic plans for the business areas under your remit, ensuring we continue to augment the way we serve our customers, driving engagement for existing Amazon SG customers and the recruitment of New To Amazon customers. In your role you’re the ultimate owner of the P&L for the businesses but also a key contributor to the wider strategic direction of the overall Singapore business.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 10+ years of retail or consumer products industry experience
- Experience with starting new businesses and scaling them fast scaling
- Experience managing large teams with demonstrated advancement of direct reports.
- Has dealt and influenced C-level execs.
- South-East Asia and Singapore specific market knowledge.
