Role Responsibilities

Business

The primary purpose of this role is to develop and implement Data and Analytics Monetization capabilities across Affluent business, including Priority and Premium Banking across Top-12 markets.

  • Candidate is accountable for the segment performance measured including Revenue, AUM contribution and Client performance KPIs as part of the Affluent countries.
  • Candidate is accountable for successful design and implementation of key projects to support deployment of data driven engagement with Affluent countries.

Processes

Address Business Challenges

  • Building MicroStrategy BI capability for portfolio diagnostics and iPortfolio (Investment portfolio) providing a single, cohesive client view empowering RMs, IAs and team managers to have portfolio view with client level drill-down functionality.
  • Developing Client Engagement Index through development of a single metric to identify client’s engagement with SCB on an on-going basis rather than using external measures like NPS research and transactional surveys which are non-client repetitive.

Compass Enhancement and Deployment through MSTR

  • Develop Affluent MI dashboards via MSTR.
  • Continue to enhance and keep Compass up to date with relevant performance indicators.

Insights to Support Improved Decision Making

  • Conduct RM participation deep-dive to understand challenges and opportunities by job grade and vintage with the bank; analysis will help in identifying focus areas across markets and alignment of NSR to targets.
  • Client Coverage Analysis to form view of Client continuum X RM continuum across major markets across Asia and AME (Top-12 markets); post finalization of the strategy to work with the respective markets for deployment of the agreed goals.

Optimizing Business Performance

  • Conducting AUM-Qualified client waterfall analysis on monthly basis to identify and highlight focus areas for top Asia and AME markets by highlighting efficiency ratios.
  • Understanding AUM – Qualified status of International Banking clients by analysing AUM holding at footprint level instead of respective country-level covering IB clients across China, HK and SG.

Data Monetization

  • Identify data monetization opportunities in Priority Banking portfolio and executing targeted cross-selling, up-selling, retention analysis, campaigns to realize the customer value potential measured through improved Revenue per client.
  • Working closely with country Segment teams along with central coordination with Retail Analytics CoE in setting-up the analytics roadmap using state of art Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning data models and rules-based criteria for portfolio segregation to build and enhance portfolio management enablers – Predictive data models, Segmentation and analytics deep-dive.

  • Possess 10+ years of experience in Consumer Banking Segment Analytics Space
  • Thought leadership in navigating Data support strategy to support business growth.

  • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in Consumer Banking business, including customer segments and data analytics.
  • Hands-on skills for conducting data analysis and driving insights.
  • Professional depth in development of integrated customer portfolio management strategy.
  • Ability to think creatively and out of the box in designing new offers and innovative solutions.
