Singtel x Singapore Institute of Technology have embarked on a Work-Study Programme (WSP) launched in Feb 2023. The WSP is called “The Catalyst Programme” which is a structured on-the-job (OJT) development WSP that allows Polytechnic Diploma holders to secure a full-time position with Singtel while pursuing a university honours degree in Applied Computing. This programme is open to Singtel’s internal employees as well as external polytechnic diploma holders preferably from the ICT domain. Non-ICT diploma holders are encouraged to apply as well. In line with building capability in Singapore ICT sector this program will develop & groom talent over a 3-year period completing micro-credentials for each module which eventually stack-up to an honours degree in Applied Computing. What you will do?

  • Support Zero Trust Strategy: Assist in the development and implementation of Zero Trust Reference Architecture policies, procedures, and strategies.
  • Policy Documentation: Collaborate with senior Enterprise Architects to document and maintain enterprise architecture policies and guidelines, ensuring alignment with Zero Trust principles.
  • Risk Assessment: Contribute to risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security risks within the organisation and recommend mitigations.
  • Technology Evaluation: Assist in evaluating new and existing technologies for compliance with Zero Trust principles, making recommendations for implementation or improvement.
  • Training and Awareness: Participate in the development and delivery of training materials to increase awareness of Zero Trust principles among staff members.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and reporting on compliance with Zero Trust policies and industry standards.
  • Research and Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Enterprise Architecture and Zero Trust Frameworks. Provide research reports and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure alignment between security requirements and enterprise architecture.

 

Requirements:

 

  • A completed diploma from a reputable Polytechnic
  • 3 year or less work experience
  • Candidates with no work experience are also encourage to apply
  • Strong interest in Enterprise Architecture and Zero Trust Frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desired Skills (but not mandatory):
    • Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
    • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
