The Lead Analyst is responsible for the assessment and support of all applications used by SingTel Group Enterprise Businesses to identify areas in need of improvement and overseeing offshore engineering resources.

 

The assessment activities include leading the business application support and the overall lifecycle of the assigned business applications.

 

The incumbent must be able to explain complex problems to management in laymen’s terms.

 

  • Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
  • Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
  • Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with on-shore/off-shore engineering resources to recommend solutions to improve it.
  • Resolving functional problems as they arise.
  • Providing supervision and guidance to on-shore/off-shore engineering resources.
  • Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with others, coaching and supporting team members as required.
  • Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current software solutions being implemented.
  • Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6 years of experience in either 1 of the following technical area:
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery
  • REST, SOAP and API
  • JSON, XML
  • OO Concept
  • Debugging
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Planning and organisation
  • Technical requirements definition skills
